The Grand Prix is being held between the 20-22 May 2011 at the Circuit to Catalunya in Montmelo, near Barcelona. We have an excellent range for 3 and 4 star hotels available for either 2, or 3 night stays on half board or all inclusive.
We have 3 Grandstands for you to choose from and the cheaper Pelouse tickets.
GRANDSTANDS B & G : Located in what is known as "The Stadium" both these grandstands offer views of the cars exiting the La Caixa Hairpin, going into the 3rd gear 120km/h Banc Sabadell Corner. They then accelerate into another 240km/h corner - Europcar corner. Both grandstands are uncovered and offer big screen viewing, which makes it easier for you to keep up-to-date on what is happening at other points of the circuit.
GRANDSTAND J : This uncovered grandstand is situated towards the end of the long pit straight opposite the pit lane exit, providing good views of the racing cars starting to brake for the Elf corner and of the spectacular acceleration of the cars out of the pit lane. You are also presented with a excellent overall view of the main straight as well as good views of the opposite side of the circuit, as the cars exit Seat Corner, all the way down to Wurth Corner. A TV screen is located here, enabling you to follow the entire race and not loose track of the action elsewhere.
PELOUSE [Areas highlighted in green on map] : Known as general admission area, they provide excellent viewing and offer good value for money admission. The Circuit de Catalunya is a naturally hilly circuit featuring a variety of steep mounds, which makes for good viewing in these areas. As always, there are no seats so it is advised to get there early for a good spot.
